RE-Writing The Narrative Feature Film
Join screenwriters from around the world in this exclusive workshop taught by seasoned studio veteran & professional screenwriter Steven Douglas Craig.
This course is designed for participants who have either completed our narrative Feature Film Workshop, or for screenwriters who have completed a first draft screenplay and are seeking help revising their work.
Through the exploration of advanced dramatic structure, the minutiae of scene development, tone, style, three-dimensional character, and relationships, as well as film genre relationships, participants will further develop their work into a more fully realized screenplay.
Using a combination of lectures, visual presentations, analytical discussion, screenplay analysis and extensive writing, to be intensely work shopped in class, participants will work together with the instructor to help build an online writing community.
NOTE FOR THE FIRST CLASS: Come prepared to PITCH your current screenplay story concept in logline format. Your pitch should give a clear, concise, two or three-sentence answer to these questions: “Who is your protagonist? Where is the story set? What is the antagonistic force?
